Convenient Care is South Texas Medical Clinics' medical treatment service designed for those days when our patients wake up sick and need to see a doctor or medical provider. It's designed to take care of those minor illnesses, colds and flu, stomach ache or ear ache, that weren't there yesterday but are really bothering us today!
It's a quick stop at the doctor's office so you can been seen and then get on the way to work or school!
Why is Convenient Care only for Minor Illness Treatment?
Convenient Care treats minor illnesses, not chronic or long term ones like hypertension or diabetes. Patients are seen for rashes and fevers, for example, or illnesses that come on overnight.
Chronic illnesses are those that patients have for a long time. An illness that is followed by a doctor or medical provider and cannot be cured or made better overnight.
What are Minor Illnesses?
Minor illnesses are: colds, sore throat, flu, pink eye, ear ache, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache, runny nose, headache, urinary tract infection, congestion, allergies, rash, cough, and poison ivy as examples.
