A primary diagnostic tool utilized by physicians are x-rays and imaging diagnostic studies.  The technology available in the medical field continues to change and become more sophisticated.  STMC maintains state of the art equipment and technology formerly available only in larger medical facilities.  We're committed to providing the highest quality diagnostic facilities close to home for our patients.

X-rays and imaging services provide an inside look at your body and its function.  Some x-ray testing is simple, some require special preparation on a patient's part.  Your doctor's office will inform you when your radiology appointment is made if there is anything you must do prior to the test.

Our primary imaging services are located in the Wharton Clinic.  Each of our clinics have basic radiology services.

Area physicians also utilize our radiology services for their patients.  Referrals are made from their offices and appointments may be made by the doctor's office or by the patient.

In the Wharton Clinic, patients can go directly to the Radiology Department to check in for their procedure.  Patients check in with the front desk receptionist at all other clinics.
